Welcome to Happy Hatters Boutique! My name is Deb Larimore, (Countess Toot ‘N Tinkle to you Red Hatters) and I am the owner of Happy Hatters. More importantly I have been a red hatter myself for about 5 years now and I’m still having a ball!

We originally started our business almost 5 years ago as a home based business with an e-commerce site and a “traveling boutique”. Our next venture was a mail order catalog. I know I personally love to catalog shop so I was hoping the rest of you hatters would too. I think I was right- since the catalog has been a huge success. But my real dream was always to open a retail store. My dream came true in December of 2005 when we opened Happy Hatters Boutique in Lima, Ohio. Our retail store gives our customers a chance to look, touch, and play dress up! And that they do! We also offer luncheons with entertainment in our “Play Room”. And needless to say, the ladies have loved it! There is quite a bit of silliness that goes on there!

This business has been a true blessing for me. I have been so fortunate to have my son Brenton managing the business for me. (He moved back from Tampa, Florida to “just help me get things started”). That was almost 5 years ago and he’s still here, working 6-7 days a week and “living the red hat dream” as he so often says! We have recently added two new members to our “Happy Hatters family”. I am pleased to introduce to you, Danielle Schroeder and Sonya Wilson. They have without a doubt, made us even “happier” at Happy Hatters! I know they will do a great job in providing the best customer service possible!

So once again, thank you so much for shopping with us and for your patience with us as we grow. We really do appreciate your business! And if any of you are ever near Lima, Ohio please stop by and visit us. We would love to meet you!

Deb (Countess Toot ‘N Tinkle)

Brenton Basinger – Chief Operating Officer
Brenton Basinger is the eldest son of Happy Hatters Boutique Founder/CEO Deb Larimore. Since early childhood Brenton had always dreamed of someday working at a Red Hat shop in Lima Ohio. Ok, so maybe that was not exactly his plan. After serving in the United States Air Force Brenton moved to Tampa Florida. He gained experience working in the technology sector for companies such as AOL and AT&T Global Network Services. In 2003 he packed up and moved back to Lima Ohio to help his Mother, Countess Toot ‘N Tinkle start Happy Hatters Boutique. Brenton has been with Happy Hatters from the start and plans to continue working diligently to provide customers with great service and reasonably priced red hat products far into the future.!

Danielle Schroeder - Graphic Designer/
Advertiser/Customer Service Representative
Danielle Schroeder is from Ottawa, Ohio. She has her Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Communications and Equine Business/Management. While her dream is to one day open her own graphic design and advertising company for the equine or agriculture industry, finding Happy Hatters Boutique has been a blast. She enjoys working in an environment were women can forget the daily stressors of everyday life and have fun like little girls again. Her responsibilities with Happy Hatters Boutique (which are a mile long) has allowed her to become a valuable asset to the company and loves watching it grow and become one of the most popular Red Hat Stores.

Sonya Wilson- Customer Service Representative/ Shipping Coordinator
Sonya is a native of Lima. She has her masters in Education from The Ohio State University and has a particular fondness for the color red. Her favorite quote is “I guess we’re adults. The question is, when did that happen and how do we make it stop?” from her favorite show Grey’s Anatomy. This quote demonstrates a great understanding of why she loves her job where women can play and just be girls. She works diligently to keep orders going out to customers and also to keep our valued customers happy.
